That Sweater.

Remember, ages ago, I told you all about a sweater that I was knitting? I am still knitting it. Non-stop. And it gets nowhere. Well, that is not strictly true. But it feels like it goes nowhere. I actually already have the front and back finished, and part of one sleeve. Here is a sneak peek.

Sorry for the blurry photo. It's all a bit of a mess. In reality, it's really soft and I can't wait for it to be finished so I can wear it. Paired with a pair of tights, nothing could be more comfortable and warm. So I have to finish it before the winter is over! We are having spring-like weather this January. Lots of snow, but it keeps melting. Here are some photos Mr. Darcey took of Carley and the Subaru in the woods a few weeks ago. Now we have quite a bit less snow, which is basically nothing, in Newfoundland-Snow-Terms.

This last photo (the one above) really kills me. Those of you who know my husband will know that he LOVES our Subaru. It's not a fancy car by any stretch, but I have to admit, it goes a lot of places I never thought a car could go. People on ATVs or snowmobiles (or in big trucks) always look at us really strangely when we go these places (ie. ATV trails). Anyway. The (funny) point is, he would've had to put on the e-brake, get out of the car, and walk up the trail, just to take this picture. (We actually have lots of photos where our car is posing for the camera. It's our first child - the dog being the second.) Really.

Another one, just for good measure. Look, that snow is not deep at all. You could drive anything on that. :)

your subaru IS a wild animal, I'm pretty sure - now you just have to get it painted in a camouflage type of pattern and darcey could just drive it into the woods and use it as a blind while he's hunting. :)
