The Definition of Comfort Food
I've had this recipe bookmarked for a long time, but I only got around to making it the other day. Why I waited so long, I don't know. You should make it, RIGHT NOW! It's such a delicious and comforting meal, and it makes a lot, so you can have lots of friends over, or have a lot of leftovers in your fridge. Either way, it's great. I took Alicia Paulson's advice and made these sweet potato biscuits instead of the Food Network ones. The biscuits were awesome. I had just enough dough leftover to make some fresh biscuits for breakfast the next day. Perfect with some buttery scrambled eggs...
