Two weekends ago Darcey and I went camping in Nopoming Park. The water was really high because of all the rain the area received lately, which made the falls extra beautiful. We did some hiking, tried to go swimming, I got poison ivy and then the road washed out, which meant we had to stay an extra day when we got shuttled across the lake and a nice Manitoba Conservation man drove us back to the city. It hardly rained, though, so it was actually a really nice (long) weekend. Maybe next time we will have our canoe so we won't get stranded.
